Grounds maintenance services. Grassing services. Hedge trimming. Shrubs. Planting and maintenance services of green areas. Cleaning services. Cemetery maintenance services. Grave-digging work. Rochford District Council (the "Council") wishes to select a supplier(s) to carry out its Grounds and Facilities Maintenance Service.The chosen applicant(s) will be expected to carry out a number of operations, including grass cutting, turfing, hedge maintenance, shrub planting and maintenance, rose planting and maintenance, floral display planting and maintenance, maintenance of sports pitches and cleaning of sports facilities, reinstatement of damaged grass areas, cleaning of toilets, snow clearance, maintaining water courses and water bodies, maintaining of cemeteries and burial grounds, grave digging duties and minor landscape works. Please note that the council cannot guarantee levels of work on any lot to any contractor.

Please note Basildon Borough Council is assisting Rochford District Council with the tender process and will not be entering into a contract for Grounds & Facilities Maintenance services and associated Lots.The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement, and the contract will be awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender.Suppliers must read through this set of instructions and follow the process to respond to this opportunity.
